Avoidance the burgeoning alternative rock motion, Dead end de Sac intertwined elements of surfboard tilt, Krautrock, Middle Eastern trance and folk music, post-rock psychedelia, and van to make a unequaled blend that garnered immediate vital attention. Formed in the too soon '90s by guitar player John Herschel Glenn Jr. Daniel Jones, multi-instrumentalist Robin redbreast Amos, erst of the Girls, and Slug La Volta drummer Chris Guttmacher, Cul de Sac released their number 1 LP, Ecim, on the self-governing Northeastern label. Bassist and plastic film producer Chris Fujiwara played on the button as well and became a lasting member of the dance orchestra.
